have spent thousandsof dollars to create the hook factor and lower 60 foot times. Motorcycles and ATV's are at a great disadvantege.
No 4 link,no wheelie bars,no 2 step MSD iginition systems,no 8000rpm torque converters, no air shifters. Motorcycles and ATV's are just left with one rear shock and a swingarm, and with the devlopment of the single cylinder 4 stroke engine. Technology in cylinder heads & camshafts the Horsepower is creeping up to that 70hp mark, and road racers hitting 200 on the twin cylinders, and we are still using some antique suspension systems. How It Works:
Clutch Engagement is controled on start by not allowing the clutch to totaly engage under heavy loads. Causing minimal slip when traction is needed and the engine torque is at its peak, as torque deceases and foward motion and wheel speed increase, the pressure excreted to the clutch discs decreese too, allowing the clutch to lock up. Lower 60 foot times!

Tips
Thru the R&D Stage we have tested various makes of clutch's. The carbon fiber clutch, after three consecitive hard starts expands and gets real sticky, you will need to let the engine cool for 15 to 20 minutes to make your final adjustmens, If you adjust the lever stop in this condition and do not heat the clutch up to this condition before leaving the line the clutch will over slip. The best method is to let the engine cool and make final adjustmens. Non-carbon fiber clutch discs after 4 or 5 hard launches, let the engine cool the same amount of time.
"MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE AT THE SAME RPM ON EVERY LAUNCH"
Some of our Hot Shots that are testing the SPS Clutch lever are leaving in 1st gear! at 25 foot mark, they are two bike lengths ahead.
One more tid bit, when you are on the starting line if you try practicing hand clutch release for 3 to 5 seconds, before the start. Your Reaction Time will Improve by .3 tenths.
